We offer a wide variety of roles here at Vicars with a vibrant and busy Farm Shop and Butchers counter as well as a busy wholesale department where craft butchers enjoy utilising their skills. We also have areas of the business that don't require butchery skills such as sausage making and driving roles that supply our customers across the south of England.

Catering Butchers:

We have vacancies for skilled butchers at all levels, from Apprenticeship to highly skilled artisan butchers to work in our wholesale department. At Vicars Game we aim to train our butchers to a high standard across as many species as we can: alongside poultry, pork, beef and lamb, we also work with venison, hares, and game birds through the shooting season. We work from whole carcasses to produce fine quality cuts to tight customer specification.

We are particularly looking for already skilled butchers looking to improve their skills to meet the exacting standards of our customer base of quality restaurants and wholesalers.
